Why did you choose to join SITE?
Until I joined Next Level Performance in 2015, my planning experience was varied. In past positions, I managed meetings, trade shows, conventions, and annual summits, in addition to incentive programs. However, in this hodgepodge of different events, incentives were always what drew most of my heart and focus. Joining Next Level, and subsequently, SITE, were mindful decisions to focus in on incentive program management in the interest of professional development and immersion.
Favorite travel destination in the Northeast, US?
There are so many – the Northeast US is a roadtripper’s paradise for us locals! From a personal travel standpoint, top-of-mind is Boston. Its rich history, beautiful seasonal transitions, varied sites and attractions, foodie hotspots, and exciting nightlife make this Northeast destination one of my favorites.
Favorite travel destination outside the Northeast, USA for incentive travel:
Lausanne, Switzerland. Switzerland has such a rich and dynamic culture that is offers truly authentic experiences. There are abundant options for travel planners. There, Next Level Performance facilitated private helicopter flights around the Matterhorn. We also created a virtually private evening for our guests in the village of Gruyères, where our guests enjoyed local fare in traditional Swiss chalets, punctuated by visits from accordion players and cowbell ringers. They were even greeted by a couple of St. Bernard dogs, who quickly became the most popular guests of the evening! Of course, our valued local hotel and ground partners were essential in making this program a success – it takes a village!
What does incentive travel look like 10 years from now?
As technology continues to provide immediacy, there will be an ever-increasing demand for individualized, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and gifts – including immersive entertainment and meal functions that allow guests to experience food in new and unique ways. In response to green efforts and evolving within the tech era, I believe we will graduate from printed materials and most everything will be distributed electronically.

Why did you choose to join SITE? I joined SITE as I see it as an integral membership association that is embedded within the Hospitality Industry. More opportunities to meet and network with clients and colleagues alike.
Favorite travel destination in the Northeast US? Block Island – love the island life.
Favorite travel destination outside of the Northeast? London – it’ll always be home so I love getting back to visit.
What does incentive travel look like to you 10 years from now? I see incentive travel continuing to look for the unique and new experiences. Everyone wants to do something that not a lot of people have had the chance to do before. Something special and out of the box whether that be by staying at a hotel that offers those experiences or going somewhere that has new and exciting activities to take part in.

Why did you choose to join SITE? I joined site to become more involved with other Incentive Industry professionals and gain a greater insight into the industry.
How long have you been a member of the organization? I have been a member of SITE since 2011. I have been with CCE since 2017
Favorite travel destination in the Northeast US? Newport, RI
Favorite travel destination outside of the Northeast? Barcelona
What does incentive travel look like to you 10 years from now? In the next 10 years, I see organizations moving away from large “feel good” incentive trips toward smaller experiences. So rather than a 300 person incentive to a Caribbean island, maybe groups of 30-40 people Mountain Climbing, rafting or a week cooking in Tuscany. Inventive travel is more meaningful when it creates a special memory.
Do you have a mentor and if so whom and why? I don’t. I fell into this industry after years in the Corporate Travel industry. I would love to pay it forward and mentor and up and coming planner.
